From the estate of Campbell Wylly, curator at MOMA. and founding trustee of the Studio Museum in Harlem. This painting, reflecting possibly the Viet Nam War,  reportedly hung over his fireplace.

Ronald’s work is discussed in numerous books on American and Canadian Abstract Expressionsim. His work is in many miuseums: the  Guggenheim, Walker, Whitney, Newark, Portland, Carnegie, and many in Canada, including the National Gallery of Canada. Several of his paintings have sold for 6 figures at auction.

This painting was purchased at Kootz Gallery at one of his solo exhibitions.
