Rinaldo Paluzzi

     American born, now living in Spain, Paluzzi has moved in recent years into concentrating on sculpture. Described as one of the Herron’s School of Art at Indiana University’s “best Known alums” his work was recently the subject of a one man show there featuring drawings, paintings and sculptures.The Indianapolis Museum of Art held a major retrospective of his work in the mid-1980's.

    He is currently represented by the William Engle Gallery in this country and the Gallery Artline in Amsterdam.

    Between 1953 and 1973 Paluzzi participated in 51 collective exhibitions in museums, cultural biennials, festivales, galleries and centers in Spain, the United States, Germany and Switzerland.  

His works are in the permanent collections of the Museum of Art of Pasadena, Carnegie Museum, Indianapolis Museum of Art, Evansville  Museum of Art,  Westmoreland County Museum of Art,  the Museum of River Basin in Spain., Brooks Art Gallery, Tn.  Southbend Museum of Art,  University of California,  Purdue University, Wittenburg University,  Muncie Ball State University, Amalgamated Bank of Chicago.  Indiana National Bank. Joseph Hirschhorn Collection, and the Museum of Santiago of Chile.
